Patrizia Banducci has been with
Lette LLP since 1987. She received her Bachelor of Arts
(B.A., Honours) from the University of Toronto in 1982 and her Bachelor
of Laws (LL.B) from Osgoode Hall Law School in 1985. Patrizia's
undergraduate education included studies abroad in France and Italy.
Patrizia's practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions, competition, corporate, and intellectual property. Her clients include Canadian and foreign manufacturers, engineering companies, mining concerns, and high tech companies. She has represented parties to share and asset acquisition and sale transactions, many of which have involved multi-jurisdictional issues. Patrizia regularly provides advice and representation on the application of the Competition Act in the context of mergers, acquisitions, and marketing practices. As a result of her special interest in intellectual property law, Patrizia also advises clients on the licensing of IP rights, acts on behalf of clients seeking to register IP rights, and maintains clients' world-wide IP portfolios. Patrizia has also represented owners of IP rights involved in complex enforcement actions in conjunction with LETTE litigators.

Prior to her admission to the Quebec Bar in 1993, Luise
had been a member of the Quebec Chamber of Notaries, where she had been
admitted in 1989, after having received the Diplôme en Droit Notarial
(“Diploma of Notarial Studies”)from the University of Sherbrooke, where
she had also obtained her degree in Quebec Civil Law (LL.B.) in 1988 and
received the Prix de la Chambre des Notaires (“Chamber of Notaries
Award”), for having obtained the highest average among the students from
the graduating class registered for notarial studies in their final
year.
Her practice as a notary included sales and mortgages, estates, curatorships and legal name changes.
From 1993 to 1999, Luise worked for Lette & Associates after having worked as a law student and articling with the firm. Her practice included real estate law, estate law and legal research.
After having worked mainly in leasing and real estate departments both in-house for companies and for two major law firms in Montreal, Luise returned to Lette & Associates in 2007.
Luise grew up in a German-speaking household and is also fluent in English and French. Prior to her law studies she decided to expand her linguistic abilities and, in 1981, completed a Bachelor of Arts at McGill University, majoring in Russian and Slavic Studies, with a minor concentration in Japanese language. After having worked in notarial environments, she enrolled in law studies at the University of Sherbrooke.
Luise’s practice is focused mainly on real estate law. She also works in immigration files, trademark applications and estates.

André Bégin has been with Lette & Associés since 1983. He
received his Bachelor of Laws (LL. B.) from Laval University in 1979 and
his Master of Laws (LL.M.) from McGill University in 1986. He was
admitted to the Québec Bar in 1980.
André's practice focuses primarily on international business transactions such as licensing and distribution agreements, foreign investment, financing and securities law, and pharmaceutical law. Over the years, André has advised clients on take-over bids, IPO's and corporate reorganizations, as well as parties to international joint ventures, licencing and distribution agreements. He has also represented clients involved in commercial disputes both before the courts and in arbitration.
André Bégin has spoken on key legal issues of international business transactions and the regulatory aspects of selling pharmaceutical products in Canada at conferences in Canada and Europe.
